Property Practitioners Act — Section 28.1
If you have suffered financial loss, been misled, or experienced misconduct in a property transaction, you may lodge a formal complaint with the Regulatory Authority.
The end-to-end process from lodgement to closure, as prescribed by the Act.
1. Complaint lodged
You submit the form online or download and email it in. A reference number is issued immediately.
2. Investigation
The Legal team assesses the merits, gathers evidence and engages the respondent practitioner.
3. Committee inquiry
If warranted, the Disciplinary Committee holds a formal inquiry with both parties.
4. Ruling & appeals
A ruling is issued. Either party may appeal to the Appeal Committee within the prescribed period.
5. Sanction & closure
Sanctions may include a fine, suspension or withdrawal of the FFC. The complainant is notified of the outcome.
